Monticello Wine Trail Harvest Celebration
Harvest season in Jefferson's wine country
About This Festival
The Monticello Wine Trail Harvest Celebration takes place each October across the rolling hills of Charlottesville, Virginia — the birthplace of American wine culture, where Thomas Jefferson himself cultivated vines at Monticello. Over 30 wineries along the trail open their doors for special harvest tastings, barrel samples, grape stomps, and farm-to-table food pairings against the stunning backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
